At SenPay we protect the privacy and security of our users' personal information. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect the information you entrust to us. It applies to all applications published by SenPay, including CardOil, and to this website.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address and phone number, provided when the account is created.
- Transaction information — amounts and dates of top-ups and payments, balance, loyalty points and the point of sale involved.
- Usage information — technical data about how you interact with the app and about any incidents encountered.
- Camera — accessed only while you scan a QR code. No image is stored or transmitted.
- Photo library — accessed occasionally when you import a profile picture or a supporting document.
- Notifications — a technical identifier lets us send you notifications relating to your account.
2. How we use your information
- Deliver the service: process your top-ups and payments, maintain your balance and loyalty points.
- Detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Improve our services using aggregated usage data.
- Send communications about your account. Promotional messages are optional and can be declined at any time.
3. Information sharing
- We do not sell your personal data and we do not rent it to anyone.
- It is shared only with the technical providers strictly required to operate the service, with partner points of sale to validate a transaction, or where the law requires it.
4. Data retention
Your data is kept while your account is active. It is deleted within thirty days of the account being closed, except for transaction records that legal and accounting obligations require us to retain.
5. Security
Communication between our applications and our servers is encrypted. Access is protected by a personal code and payment QR codes expire after fifteen minutes.
6. Your rights
- You can view, correct or update your information from your profile in the app.
- You can request deletion of your account from the app settings, or by email to contact@senpay.io. Requests are processed within thirty days.
- You can withdraw permissions granted to the app at any time from your phone's settings.
7. Children's privacy
Our services are not intended for people under eighteen and we do not knowingly collect data about them.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date it was last updated appears at the top of this page.
